Eco-Drains

Eco-Drains prevent the water, oil, and dirt trapped by compressed air tanks, moisture separators, dryers, and filters from building up and contaminating product and expensive equipment. Controlled by capacitance sensors, these energy-saving drains remove contaminated condensate while retaining valuable compressed air. The robust aluminum housing and patented pilot-air-controlled valve technology ensure reliable service even when the drains are subjected to harsh condensate. No longer must you sacrifice speed, capacity or smooth operation for the quick-clean capability of a cantilevered shaft, because Kason offers two cantilevered centrifugal screeners that prevent vibration, even at high speeds under heavy, imbalanced loads: Two-bearing models (no bearing on the hinged overs end cover) run in cantilever mode at all times, and employ an oversize shaft, wide spacing between bearings, and a flexible coupling that eliminate vibration. High capacity three-bearing models cantilever only during cleaning and screen changes. During operation they run smoothly on both shaft end bearings. Both models are available in gravity-fed (shown) and in-line pneumatic configurations for sifting, scalping, de-lumping or dewatering of dry bulk materials, soft agglomerates, moist solids or solids-laden slurries.
